Oslo, Norway - Dolphin Drilling AS announced today its preliminary financial results for the first half (H1) of 2025.
Q2-2025, H1 and Subsequent Events
- Revenue Growth: Revenues of USD 47.4 million for the second quarter, compared to USD 19.9 million in Q2-2024. H1 revenues were USD 93.0 million, up from USD 30.0 million reported for H1-2024
- EBITDA Improvement: EBITDA of USD 5.5 million for the second quarter, a significant improvement from an EBITDA loss of USD 6.3 million in Q2-2024. For the half year, EBITDA was USD 10.4 million compared to a loss of USD 23.2 million in 2024
- Net Earnings: The company reported a net Loss of USD 26.2 million or USD 0.09 per share in the second quarter primarily of 2025, due to recording a tax loss of USD 19.2 million, compared to a loss of USD 14.1 million or USD 0.06 per share in Q2 2024. H1 year earnings per share were a loss of USD 0.12, in comparison to a loss of USD 0.11 in the previous year.
- Rig Utilization: Paul B. Loyd, Jr ("PBLJ") and Blackford Dolphin both on contract for the full quarter, PBLJ at an average uptime of 96.8% and Blackford Dolphin at 89.8%. Utilization for the first half of 2025 was 97.6% and 86.3% respectively.
- Leadership Change: During H1, Jon Oliver Bryce was appointed CEO, Ingolf Gillesdal appointed CFO; and Ronny Bjornådal appointed as Chairman.
- Major long-term investors: Svelland Capital became the company's largest shareholder group, controlling funds accounting for 49% of shareholding.
- Financing update: A group refinancing was completed in July 2025, including an Equity raise of USD 29 million, a new secured bond of USD 21.5 million, upsize loan of USD 7.2 million as well as certain amendment to terms and debt repayments related to the existing USD 65 million loan facility, and repayment of a USD 15 million shareholder loan.
- In June 2025, the UK Supreme Court handed down a ruling in favour of HMRC regarding the legacy tax case. The value of the tax claim is GBP 9.9 million, plus interest and costs. The tax and interest liability has been recorded in the reported results. The company is in discussion with HMRC in relation to the final settlement of this liability
- In late July 2025 the PBLJ commenced its tow to the Westcon yard to complete her 5-year Special Periodic Survey.

Oslo - Dolphin Drilling AS (the "Company") today announces that an undisclosed party has signed a letter of intent for a contract for the rig Borgland Dolphin.
The potential contract would be expected to have a value of approximately USD 58 million. The scheduled commencement would take place in the second half of 2026, and include payments for preparation for operation, mobilisation and demobilisation. Discussions between the parties are still ongoing and there can be no certainty as to whether the potential contract will be entered into. The award of the contract is subject to the terms and conditions of the contract (i) having been mutually agreed between the counterparty and the Company, and (ii) the counterparty having received all necessary approvals, including partner acceptances.
As a consequence of the above and in order to comply with regulatory requirements in connection with the ongoing subsequent repair offering, the Company will as soon as practicably possible publish a prospectus supplement (subject to approval by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway) to the prospectus dated 25.08.2025.

Se det var rally'et sitt, det.
Sitter fortsatt på min studentpost, men har måttet stille meg selv spørsmålet "har jeg tro på gamble'en i dag", og funnet ut at det har jeg. Denne kan stige 100% and beyond til en MC på ~650 til kanskje til over-optimistiske 3000 mill, og vil meget godt forsvare en slik oppgang om selskapet klarer å vise PAT/EAT på ~65 til overoptimistiske 300 mill pro anno.
Åkke som, nedsiden er liten i kroner og øre, men uendelig stor med 100% i prosenter...

Oslo, 5 September 2025: Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by Dolphin Drilling AS (the "Company") earlier today regarding the last day of the subscription period in the subsequent offering (the "Subsequent Offering") of up to 27,803,642,659 new shares in the Company (the "Offer Shares") at a subscription price of NOK 0.01 per share.
The subscription period for the Subsequent Offering expired today, 5 September 2025, at 16:30 CEST. The Company has been informed by the Managers (as defined below) that at the end of the subscription period, and based on a preliminary count, subscriptions had been received for a total of 446,796,161 Offer Shares.

Oslo, Norway - Dolphin Drilling AS ("Dolphin") today announced the contract fixture of its semi-submersible drilling rig BORGLAND DOLPHIN to REPSOL, a major Spanish multinational energy and petrochemical company, which represents approximately USD 60 million in firm contract backlog, as referenced to in our announcement dated 02.09.2025, regarding a Letter of Intent.
Dolphin will now work to mobilize the BORGLAND DOLPHIN, where it will commence well, plug and abandonment operations scheduled to commence late 2026. The contract provides for a firm 7-wells and spans a minimum 220 days, with an option available to extend for a further 3 wells.

Ikke blink ennå, men kanskje som resultat av spekulasjonen i siste setning under?
Jeg ser av teksten i OldNick's link at there has been significant social media speculation about the size of the Vijaya Puram-2 discovery and the basin’s potential.
Ettersom dette følgelig har vært kjent i markedet "noen tid", forklarer det neppe oppgangen i går. Men vi trenger kanskje ikke å gå lengre bakover enn til 7-8-9. oktober med henholdsvis 814, 415 og 262 trades ('mot normalt' 150-100 trades for ikke å nevne at den meget ofte havner godt under 100 trades).
Ellers var det en hyggelig nyhet som meget vel kan føre til at Blackford Dolphin sikres boring av både avgrensings- og produksjons-brønner.

Oslo, Norway - Dolphin Drilling AS ("Dolphin") today confirms that His Majesty's Revenue and Customs ("HMRC") in the UK and the Company has reached a position in respect of the outstanding corporation tax liability of GBP 12.2 million, where the Company will repay its debt to HMRC over a period until April 30, 2026.
This liability relates to a legacy claim dismissed by the UK Supreme Court on 24.06.2025.
Dolphin Drilling is committed to meeting its financial obligations and continuing to focus on its operational and strategic priorities.

Oslo, Norway - Dolphin Drilling AS ("Dolphin" or the "Company") provides update on the situation relating to the arbitration award against General Hydrocarbons Limited ("GHL").
Further to the announcement made on 14.07.2025 by Dolphin concerning an order by the Federal High Court of Lagos, Nigeria, granting Dolphin leave to enforce the arbitration award previously obtained against GHL, Dolphin has today been informed by its legal counsels in Nigeria that The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria ("AMCON") has exercised its statutory powers to appoint a Receiver/Manager to take control of GHL.
AMCON is a statutory corporation established by the Nigerian government to stabilise the financial system by acquiring non-performing loans from banks and recovering debts owed to those banks. The Receiver/Manager has advertised his appointment and instructed all creditors of GHL to file their claims. It is Dolphin's understanding that the Receiver/Manager appointment can be challenged by GHL.
Dolphin will continue to pursue collection efforts in respect of its unsecured claim. Dolphin will also monitor developments regarding the Receiver/Manager appointment and further seek to engage with the Receiver/Manager in accordance with Nigerian law.

Selskapet meldte i ettermiddag at det vil gjennomføre en rettet emisjon på ca. US$15 mill. til fastsatt kurs 1.1 øre/aksje i kveld, som er garantert av Svelland Global Trading Master Fund og Starship Investment, som da vil føre til utstedelse av ytterligere snaut 13.8 mrd. DDRIL-aksjer.
Sluttkurser på OSE var 1.02 øre/aksje i dag.

En fuskegod og en fuskedårlig melding. Jeg ville antatt at en kansellert 27804 mill potential subsequent var nøytral, at 13.8 mrd nye aksjer på 1.1 øre er like nøytral, og at det er sannelig ikke store sannsynligheten for at selskapets krav mot GHL noen sinne blir dekket.
Så, bortsett fra at aksjene konsentreres opp på færre hender, overall nøytrale meldinger.
Selskapet kan gjerne melde om mottatte interessante henvendelser at Blackford Dolphin sikres boring av både avgrensings- og produksjons-brønner.
